	Emotional response to the text. I saw Annabella as a thing of beauty and of sustenance in tis harsh world of men and their desire to obtain her as love, power and prize. She is the fruit of the earth in this violent and arid world, where she is eventually destroyed. This image came from the idea of her body is the fruit and the men are the scorched earth she bleeds into.
